Lab hours 3/3

This week I've spent all of my hours doing research for the exhibit. I've spent around 3 hours total trying to locate a copy of the elusive Advocate-News article about Joel Cotton. I trekked down to the state library - nice place. They have the right newspaper, but they don't have any editions from 1930 - 1970. I need 1952. I found what I'm looking for at UC Berkeley. I'm waiting on an interlibrary loan, so hopefully that happens fast. I've also been in touch with the newspaper editor again to let her know where I was at and that I may still need her to supply a copy.
I also spent about an hour on the object to be selected for the traveling object. I did a little preliminary research about CA weaving materials, but I'm really waiting until we decide which object we'll be using. I've also been in contact with my team about how to proceed.
