Lab hours 2/24

This past week I spent about 4 or so hours reading the other blogs, looking over the accession file and photos of the collection. A lot of that time was spent doing research online. I was able to contact the editor of the Fort Bragg Advocate-News that ran this article about Joel S. Cotton, Jr. which is also at the end of the accesion file. I'll be heading to the state library this Thursday to see if they have a copy of the original 1952 article on microfilm. If not, the editor can send me a copy, but they have no staff so I'm not sure how long it'll take.
I've decided on which of my objects I want in the postcard, but I need to either take a different picture of it or mess with the existing photo a bit more to get the thumbnail image I want.
